Film description: Education Under Fire is a 30-minute documentary endorsed by Amnesty International which focuses on the Islamic Republic of Iran's three decade long policy of denying the members of its Bahá´í community the right to attend any institution of higher education. The film tells the poignant and compelling story of the informal self-organized Baha'i Institute for Higher Education (BIHE), a story of resilience demonstrated in the face of oppression. As the result of recent raids on the institution, some BIHE professors and administrators continue to languish in prison without formal charges yet having been levied.
