Canadians, Arabs and Jews for a Just Peace are hosting a special dinner event on Tuesday, June 19 at the Jerusalem Café (6015 Lady Hammond Road, near Robie) in Halifax to honour and celebrate the decades of committed and exemplary work by Dr. Ismail Zayid for a just peace in Israel/Palestine.
A number of persons will have an opportunity to recognize and speak about Dr. Zayid’s contributions and CAJJP will present an award to him. Participants will enjoy a buffet of traditional Palestinian food. The event starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 and available by email from jimguild@eastlink.ca. As the venue is limited to 65 guests, we urge you to order your tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
