Panel discussion on Italian immigration and Pier 21 followed at 6:30 p.m. by a book launch and author readings of Behind Barbed Wire: Creative Works on the Internment of Italian Canadians and Beyond Barbed Wire: Essays on the Internment of Italian Canadians. The book launch and author readings are presented by the Association of Italian Canadian Writers, in partnership with Guernica Editions, Accenti Magazine, and co-publisher Columbus Centre and are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP by Tuesday, March 20 to projectmanager@aicw.ca.
