Carbon Arc Cinema launches its first step towards a full-time cinema space

An interview with Alan Collins of the Carbon Arc Cinema project, which is launching this Thursday evening at the Khyber ICA with a screening and party.  Alan has produced a documentary on the need for an independant cinema space in Halifax which will screen at the launch.

Alan also discusses long term plans for the project, which include increasing frequency of screenings and eventually a permanent location for Carbon Arc.

The launch takes place this Thurs July 15th in the Khyber Ballroom, 2nd floor, 1588 Barrington Street.
Doors open at 7:30pm. Event starts at 8pm. Suggested Donation of $6 or pay what you can. Cash bar and live music with projections to follow by Seth Huntley & Benn Ross.
