K'jipuktuk (Halifax) - Thankfully, Haligonians are still legally able to gather in groups of over 50 (at least when not camping in non-designated areas!). About 150 enthusiastic people from all walks of life took to the streets last night in a show of solidarity with the ongoing protests in Quebec.

Red squares were a-plenty, as a cacophony of banging, sometimes rhythmic, always joyous, resonated throughout the downtown core, and carried on late into the night. Everything, from street signs to garbage bins to telephone poles, was duly tested for timbre and resonance by the empowered casserole-ites.

Please enjoy the sounds of things being banged together on the streets of Halifax.
