, the Atlantic education and organization officer for the Canadian Union of Postal Workers was detained at a peaceful protest this morning by Halifax Police. The arrest, which took place on Marginal Rd., a few hundred metres from where G8 development ministers were meeting at Pier 21, was seemingly unprovoked.
